Challenges
Usability Issues: The site was difficult to navigate, with users reporting it as non-intuitive and hard to use.
High Carbon Footprint: The site produced 2 tons of CO2 annually.
Poor Search Performance: The average search result position was low, and mobile performance was poor.
Time-Consuming Maintenance: Updating content across regions took significant time.
Low Engagement: High bounce rates and poor engagement with critical content like sustainability reports.
Design Solutions
Improved Information Architecture: Simplified navigation with clear calls to action (CTAs), improving access to important sections such as "Contact Us" and "Invest with Us."
New Look & Feel: Introduced a modern design language that was lightweight and aligned with brand guidelines while improving visual appeal.
Optimized Code: Reduced visual load to decrease CO2 emissions and improve performance.
CMS and Automation: Switched to a modern CMS, implemented automations for faster content updates across regions, and replaced PDFs with HTML pages.
SEO Improvements: Updated metadata, added relevant keywords, and improved top-level page copy to boost search rankings.
Dynamic Content: Added dynamic content sections to engage users with updated insights and relevant materials.
