Process

Challenges

  • Usability Issues: The site was difficult to navigate, with users reporting it as non-intuitive and hard to use.

  • High Carbon Footprint: The site produced 2 tons of CO2 annually.

  • Poor Search Performance: The average search result position was low, and mobile performance was poor.

  • Time-Consuming Maintenance: Updating content across regions took significant time.

  • Low Engagement: High bounce rates and poor engagement with critical content like sustainability reports.

Design Solutions

  1. Improved Information Architecture: Simplified navigation with clear calls to action (CTAs), improving access to important sections such as "Contact Us" and "Invest with Us."

  2. New Look & Feel: Introduced a modern design language that was lightweight and aligned with brand guidelines while improving visual appeal.

  3. Optimized Code: Reduced visual load to decrease CO2 emissions and improve performance.

  4. CMS and Automation: Switched to a modern CMS, implemented automations for faster content updates across regions, and replaced PDFs with HTML pages.

  5. SEO Improvements: Updated metadata, added relevant keywords, and improved top-level page copy to boost search rankings.

  6. Dynamic Content: Added dynamic content sections to engage users with updated insights and relevant materials.
